Acquisition

Acquisition reporting answers which sources, campaigns, keywords, and referrers bring people who actually activate and pay.

What OnRamp uses

OnRamp reads standard UTM values, referrer context, mobile install attribution, and connected ad spend. It groups results by source, medium, campaign, keyword, channel, and related dimensions.

Useful metrics

  • CAC: spend divided by acquired customers
  • CPA/CPI: spend divided by conversions or installs
  • ROAS: attributed revenue divided by spend
  • Net ROAS: revenue after refunds divided by spend
  • LTV:CAC and payback: longer-term efficiency where enough revenue and customer history exists

Connect cost data

Connect Google Ads, Apple Search Ads, Meta Ads, or TikTok Ads to add platform spend. Spend is campaign-level data; user-level campaign attribution is only shown when the platform and your tracking make it available.

Keep campaign naming clean

Use consistent utm_source, utm_medium, and utm_campaign values. A source by itself is often ambiguous. For example, Google traffic can be paid or organic, while a paid medium such as cpc makes the distinction clear.
