Billing and usage

The Billing page shows the organization plan, billing period, event usage, and the controls available to owners and admins.

How usage works

Usage is measured as events in the current billing period. During a trial, usage is visible but limits are not enforced. After the trial, the plan’s quota applies.

When a project exceeds its quota, events continue to record. Funnel charts remain visible, while session detail, realtime, and drop-off user lists can be locked until the plan is upgraded or the next period begins.

Change a plan

Owners and admins can upgrade, downgrade, update payment details, or cancel through Billing. A lower quota does not delete existing data, but it can restrict detail views during the current period.

Use onramp billing status or the Management API when you need to check usage in an automated workflow.
